Kerala Forest Department,Field Publicity department and Kottayam Nature Society conducting "11th VEMBANADU BIRD COUNT 2011" on January 15th Saturday and 16th Sunday.
On January 9th Sunday we are conducting a "Bird watching tips class " for new comers.

6.30 pm Inauguration and welcome address.
7.00 pm Describing the methodology and Wet land birds slide show.
9.oo pm Dinner
9.30 pm Discussion and Team selection
16th Sunday
4.30 am First team will start from the roost
6.00 am Bird count start
10.00 am Bird count Finish
10.30 am Break fast
11.00 am Presentation of each site report
12.00 pm Compilation of result and discussion
12.30 pm vote of thanks
1.00 pm Group Photo session
1.15 pm Lunch
